My interest in makeup artistry began in 2013 when I first used it for myself. I am amazed by how it could transform an individual and bring out their beauty. I knew nothing about how impactful it can be back then, but that’s when I started researching makeup techniques and brands. What formed as curiosity leads me to get a job in Nordstrom’s beauty department as a rover. The main task was to assist other artists in handling different cosmetic lines. This aided me in learning new things every day and boosted my level of confidence in the craft.

It felt really heartwarming whenever a client sensed the beauty in their own skin with the help of my work. I felt happy with all the good feedback I received but still, I wanted to learn more. I knew that my passion wouldn’t just fade away so I decided to go to school and completed the Artistry of makeup Program at Elegance International in Los Angeles Ca in 2016.

I learned a lot during my studies, including special effects makeup, its basics, and technicalities. It also made me realize that it’s not just about putting on makeup; it’s an art form that I enjoy doing. It not only enhances someone else’s beauty, but it brings out their best with the right makeup. For me, makeup is freedom. It enhances your look and gives you the confidence everyone needs. I know you will be happy to see yourself in the mirror in a different light with my work.

Although I already have a degree, I understand makeup artistry is a continuous learning process. There is always a new product or technique, and clients have different requirements. While makeup artistry is a challenging path, I am thankful that I was able to pursue it with my hard work and dedication. I continuously learn through methods and experience, which helps me develop my skills professionally and personally.

I always strive to be at my best because my goal is to make every woman feel that they are at their best too on their special day. I’m a makeup artist who specializes in bridal makeup and provides other services like hair styling and special effects makeup. I use professional makeup application techniques mixed with my own style of creation which has made each client I worked with very happy.

My drive and enthusiasm for my work, distinguish me and my business. I’m in it to make every woman feel more beautiful about themselves on their most special day. I deal with each customer as if they are a genuine friend and that I am ready to help bring their vision to life. While I bring a friendly atmosphere, I don’t cross the line and still remain professional. I want my clients to feel comfortable discussing their needs, as well as hesitations. This helps me bring out not only the best but their true personality too.

Most of the clients I get are through referrals from my prior services. Although it’s a common occurrence, it is always a pleasure whenever I receive inquiries saying they saw the work I did for their friend, and would love to avail my services too. That’s why it’s no surprise to see previous clients at the next event and it only makes my task easy and fun too.

I have always dreamed of having and handling my own business. My mother’s example of starting her own business as a single parent with four children has always been a driving factor to pursue building my own business and persevering through the many challenges I’ve overcome. Every client I get is both motivation and inspiration to keep getting better at my craft. Day by day, my passion grows and expands with each client I assist in bringing out their best on their special day with my makeup artistry.
